HAMENTASHEN



PRUNE FILLING //

1 1/2 cups dried pruned, stewed and chopped
1/2 cup raisins, chopped
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
2 tbsp bread crumbs
2 tbsp sugar

What to do:

To stew the prunes - combine 1 1/2 cup prunes, 2 cups water and juice from half a lemon in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered for 20 minutes. Strain off excess liquid and chop.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
